Anishinaabe Prayer Circle at Ponemah Healing Lodge, Red Lake Indian Reservation, MN.

There are seven sacred directions within Native American teachings. There are some differences between teachings of the different first nation peoples, all are honored.

Whenever referenced on this website, the Seven Directions are honored by travelling around the circle starting in the East position.

If everything was always peachy, we'd never change a thing. Whenever you find yourself thinking "this sucks," you can be sure that a positive change is on the horizon because you've already begun thinking about what is needed to improve the situation.

Sometimes it has to "suck" before we make the request for a positive change.

Once we begin taking the necessary steps which bring improvement, "all that sucks" is about to transform to fit the ever changing needs of our lives. This information will correct the most commonly "missed steps" which lead to positive change.

Although it's never easy when someone you love passes away, you may feel comforted by viewing their "death" from a new perspective.

Asking yourself certain questions about your loved-one will help you develop the perspective which will make their transition an easier transition time for you too.

Most people we've talked to about the "Idle No More" movement, hadn't even heard that it was happening because it hasn't really been covered by our major news networks.

This is Big News.

A GLOBAL Event, people all over the world have been participating in for almost a month, don't you wonder, "Why this has NOT been all over the News?"

You are not alone, if you haven't noticed much of a visible change yet.
The entertainment industry gave most people a very different mental picture of this
"New Time" when they portrayed it as a massive physical change.
In reality, this is a change in Consciousness,
the time we become more Consciously Aware.

Human Brain Thought Speed Awareness Chart - What is Expected in this

Chart represents Brain Activity, the part which Humans are using.

Science tells us that the human brain thinks at a rate of 400-billion bytes per second, yet the average human is consciously aware of only 2-thousand bytes per second.
Aware of only 2-thousand out of
400-billion?

We are sensing so much more and this is the exciting time when each of us may choose to Expand our own Conscious Awareness.

Many are asking for explanations, wondering what they might expect to experience.

Hurt feelings often masquerade as anger.
It is wise to understand this:
Feeling hurt or angry means the love is still there, burning within you.

You may wish to reject it, to project this "tough guy" appearance... but lying to yourself is the opposite of being courageous. It requires bravery to consider and accept what is really true.

Have you ever felt angry or stewed about something you didn't care about?
Fact is, if you really didn't care, you wouldn't feel angry or think about it at all.

If you don't want others to know how you feel, that's OK. At least be honest with yourself, it's the only real way to end the suffering and make your pain go away.

Love is something that exists within the heart, it does not require the participation or reciprocation of another person. Real unconditional love just is.
No matter what the other person says or does, no matter how much you may want it to... real Love never ends.

Loving someone this powerfully is a wonderful thing. Feeling this kind of Love says amazing things about You... it is a beautiful reflection of your true inner self.

Why continue trying to convince yourself that you don't care anymore? If you truly don't care now... it really means that you actually never cared to begin with. If that were true, you wouldn't still feel hurt or angry right now. Love never ends, but the pain associated with that love needs not persist any longer.
