Treating the person as a "Whole Person," Mind, Body, Heart & Spirit.
—I have been practicing "holistic" types of medicine professionally for approximately 11 years. My interests in Holistic support to assist the body to heal itself began as a very personal journey. —Starting in 1990, I explored & practiced daily "holistic" ideas & treatments to help in the treatment of my daughter after she was born prematurely with serious medical conditions.
Many of the new concepts I fold into treatments were discovered while helping my daughter "beat the odds," to grow up and out of ALL of the conditions which they said could not be done! She truly is My Miracle Child.
Honor Graduate of Professional Institute of Massage Therapy
Licensed Massage Therapist, under ND State Board of Massage, Professional License #498 since June 2000.
Highly trained in most Advanced Massage Therapy Techniques. Specializing in Injury Recovery & Chronic Pain for over a decade.
While treating various difficult injuries the Medical Doctors at the Pain Clinic had given up on, I discovered new ways to help clients become pain free with increased mobility. Over time these developed into a new technique which I call, "The Reset Button." To date, this technique has proven to work on everyone, whether they had been seriously injured or using their body incorrectly over an extended period of time. It literally retrains traumatized muscles so they may return to a normal, relaxed & pain-free state.

Reiki is a Holistic Healing Modality which affects the energy flow of the body along the Meridian pathways. Acupuncture, Acupressure & many other Eastern Medicine & Martial Arts share this basic principle of balancing the flowing energy of the body.
Each Reiki practitioner develops their unique, natural-born strengths & gifted abilities along their own personal journey back to Spiritual, Energetic, Physical, Mental & Emotional Well-Being. Reiki Energy “re-charges” and cleanses every level of a person’s whole being.
Each Reiki Master’s experience is uniquely different, specialized to support their needs as they release the negative energies which often include old physical injuries, disease, spiritual & emotional hurts, negative habit cycles and fears. Former conflicts & life struggles often transform into blessings as the wisdom gained from such experiences comes to the surface & may be used to help others.
Personal Preferred Method of Teaching Reiki: Includes all above mentioned forms of Reiki evenly mixed with traditional Native American concepts of Spirituality, Nature & Holistic Medicine.

I believe that Mother Earth naturally provides all the medicines we need to heal ourselves, without unpleasant side effects. Aromatherapy is the use of therapeutic grade essential oils as natural medicines.
1.) Aromatically. Use as a room fragrance, which stimulates Olfactory Sense Memories to affect overall "mood" of the client.
2.) Internally Use of a powerful nebulizer to diffuse tiny oil particles directly into the air. The oil particles remain suspended within the air for several hours. The oil is delivered into the body simply by breathing normally. Internally the oils are absorbed within the body & bloodstream to promote natural healing, good health, increased immune system function, etc.
3.) Topically Applying therapeutic grade essential oils directly on the body for absorption. Primary use in my practice are oils that are known to be good as topical analgesics & naturally reduce inflammation, allowing the body to heal itself more quickly.
Inspirational Motivation Positive changes are difficult to force others into, yet most people are easily inspired! I have MANY ideas for ways to Inspire, Encourage & Support People of ALL ages to live Happier & Healthier lives.
Originally developed to assist my Reiki Students, but the technique has proven to provide the same results with others. Technique was built upon my personal belief that all struggles in a person’s life are simply Life-Lessons waiting to be understood. Struggles are like life’s tests, when we continue struggling, we simply didn’t understand the lesson in order to pass the test. Once the Life-Lesson is identified & successfully applied, the “final exam” is passed, the struggle dissipates and the “struggle-cycle” ends. Helping people to identify the Life-Lessons hidden under their struggles & conflicts, applying solutions for immediate & permanent positive changes. This also includes helping people to forgive others & release old hurts/fears by helping them to understand what caused the original conflicts. With this technique, I look to identify the root cause of a problem, whether that be medical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, relationship, family or community problem. Help others understand how the root cause of problems are often hidden, yet once identified, the solutions are often very simple to do! The result is usually life altering, positive changes come quite quickly. Problems are generally built up one stacking upon another, upon yet another, etc. Removing the root cause underneath the stack of problems seen on the surface gives amazing results! It's a wonderful technique which I've spent the last few years developing & perfecting.
Effectiveness of Guided-Learning
Maronda Robertson, MS, LPCC, LAC, LADC
A local Professional Clinical Counselor and I had been planning to begin a clinical study for over a year.
The study would allow the combined use of all of my gifts, but mostly it would test the effectiveness of the Guided-Learning Technique.
We began the Clinical Study with her patient in my West Fargo Office on November 16, 2010.
Maronda is observing while I work with her patient, so the process may be documented by a mental health professional. We are both very excited by how quickly & easily the patient is responding to these all-natural holistic techniques!
Certified G-Jo Acupressure Master. Technique frees up blockages, allowing the flow of energy within the body may return to normal.
Acupressure is a technique very similar to acupuncture, see the differences below:
Acupuncture - tiny needles inserted into the skin, placed along the meridian points for the
purpose of breaking up energy blockages within the body,
Acupressure - application of focused point-specific pressure, to these same meridian points
for the purpose of breaking up energy blockages within the body.
Acupressure & Acupuncture are traditional Chinese Medical techniques based upon Eastern Medical Theories about Meridians. Martial arts such as, qigong & tai chi, are also based upon the Meridians. Within the psychophysical system of the body, chi (energy) is considered to flow along these "pathways" called Meridians. Effects are achieved by manipulating & balancing the chi (energy) running through this network of complex bodily patterns.
Electrical Theory of Pain- The body continually generates tiny but detectable electrical discharges. This electrical field influences the growth, maturation, and functioning of some types of cells. It is known that acupressure points are concentrated in areas of low electrical resistance. Studies show there is a correlation between the electromagnetic fields in the body and these channels known as meridians. This electrical theory suggests that acupressure works by influencing the body's electromagnetic fields. Meridian points have certain electrical properties, chemical neurotransmitters in the body are altered by stimulating these points.
ETPS Therapy= Uses an electronic point specific muscle stim device along the meridian points to free up blockages, allowing the flow of energy within the body to return to normal. Similar to Acupuncture, but without needles puncturing the skin. Certification received through AcuMed.
Director of Therapies
Previously served as Director of Therapies at a Holistic Health Clinic in Fargo for over two years. Responsible for assessing patients, creating individual treatment plans, conducting and supervising the application of therapies within the clinic.
Understanding what foods do within the body to help or hinder a person’s health goals. Processed foods within the average diet today are especially concerning, as they cause rapid insulin & serotonin spikes & falls. I believe this is the major cause of Diabetes & Depression. Hyper Insulin Sensitive people can reset their insulin levels within three days with food choice & mealtime adjustments.
Native American Medicine
After being identified as a “Natural Born Healer,” I discovered that the “Gift of Medicine” runs in the family, on the Native side. I am proud to consider myself a perfect example of the melting pot, having traced my geneaology to just about everywhere! I have learned to Celebrate & Embrace ALL Aspects of WHO I AM.
By doing so, I lovingly embrace all of myself.... restoring the peace & balance within.
My mother is a member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.
I have a low blood quantum- 1/16 Native American. Yet regardless of how much or how little, the natural born gift of medicine is still passed down in the bloodline.
My Native American Elder is Larry Stillday, Sr. He is an Elder and Spiritual Leader of the Red Lake Nation. Larry Stillday, Sr. is also the one who named me.
I received my "Spirit Names" (aka Indian Names) in a traditional naming ceremony at the Ponemah Lodge on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota. Passed down to me, I was given all the names of my Great Great Grandmother, Shebahcumigoke. Larry explained to me that in my family, names were passed every other generation, "to remember who our ancestors were." This tradition was carried on for thousands of years. It was a great honor to be the first in my family to resume this tradition since the naming of my Great Great Grandmother who was born in 1858.
I was already practicing so many forms of "Holistic Medicine," spending time with my Elder, Larry Stillday, helped bring it all together. After much coaching, I was encouraged to continue “following my instincts” and use what I've learned to find a way to help the people WHERE I AM.
That is exactly what I've been doing ever since!
Many of the foundations of my Guided-Learning technique come from the healing concepts of Native American Medicine and Spirtuality, applied in a way which fits within anyone's current Faith.
I have heard that I explain Native American Culture and Spirituality in a way that others may more easily understand. I have been asked by some local Mental Health Professionals to begin providing continuing ed classes to help others of that profession better connect and understand their native patients.
Spiritual Healing automatically falls under Reiki and Native American Medicine. I have a unique ability to Spiritually help others no matter their denomination or faith.... All is Love
and Divine Love is Always Unconditional.
Our dreams have much to tell us about where we are going, where we’ve been & what we still need to work on. In my practice, clients talk to me about just about everything in their lives, including their good dreams & nightmares. In conjunction with the Guided-Learning, I’ve found that helping people understand their dreams often aids in their journey back to feeling “re-connected” and “whole.”
I work well with people of ALL ages, even troubled young people. I've taken in many teens over the years, but never became a foster parent. I found that often the kids that really needed a safe place to be, never reached the foster care program. I am particularly drawn to kids who've been in some trouble. I've noticed that often their parents become so worried their child will "do it again" that the child begins to believe "THIS" is "Who They Are." I've seen many kids dive head first into negative patterns after accepting "this Identity." After all, it's Human Nature to strive to be good at whatever a person is really good at, right? Everyone makes mistakes, trial and error, this is how we all learn. It’s important that people encourage others to learn from their mistakes instead of letting the mistake define the person.
