Please take a few moments of silence to remember all the innocent trees who were sacrificed for this year's political election.

Ridiculous numbers of political mailings have indeed swayed my vote.

Whomever sends the most Dead Trees will definitely NOT get my vote!

Politicians sending these mailings obviously have a different mindset.
It's time for Our Government to go paperless too!

Some people are likely saying, "I knew it was only a matter of time before Jen's Tree Hugging started to show in her blogs." ha-ha!

Seeing stacks of political mail coming almost daily, all I could think of is how everyone is getting this in the mail today?!?!

It finally got to me and I had to say something.

I was feeling the same way! I pictured myself sitting in a tree the other night in my dream, it just kept bothering me and I couldn't sleep and I was protesting it getting cut down. Didn't connect to the political mail though.

:) Thanks for your comment Dana! I know we need paper for different things, but there is so much that is not needed. I'd really like to see political ads go online instead. Perhaps they could ask people to check a box if they still want to receive it in the regular paper mail. That was just an idea. :)
