Discovering Seeds

Original version of this poem was written in 2009.

Crying out -
Oh God, Where Are You?
Distant answer-
Awaiting You In The Garden!
What separates us from You?
Only one thing, you call it Sin…
The answer is clear and true.
Sins are spawned from fears,
All fears build up from One.
Chaos, the hypnotic distraction,
Break free of the gripping gaze!
Fear is the contagious curse,
Most viral & deadly of plagues!
Fear feeds itself, Then multiplies!
A secret infestation,
Birthing it's many mutations!
Infecting the very soul,
Hidden & Undetected for centuries,
Pandemic of global proportions,
Passed on like a genetic disease.
Fear, the gift that keeps on taking!
Taking more control of those who feed it,
A Hostile take-over indeed!

Dark Veils of Fear cloud all perceptions,
Every Sense & Experience Altered!
Oh the Trickster is tricky indeed!
Keeps it's victims held hostage,
Anticipating attacks all around!
Fear gives birth to another seed,
The most coveted & protected!
We planted it with gentle care,
Tending it's crop like precious grains.
How magnificently these seeds grow,
Big, strong & fruitful indeed!
Tricking heart’s gardener once more,
For it is but a Weed!
Hurts grow like weeds in the garden,
Til no other seeds still grow.
Fear creates hurts,
Kept hurts create fears!
The very seeds of Eden's Garden,
Being choked out from within,
By your own coveted new crops!
Hurt, Fear, Anger, Hatred & Resentment
All Coveted Seeds You Chose to Sow,
Each Day You Reap the benefits!
