If the emotions kept within showed as colorfully on the outside as they feel on the inside, perhaps we would all understand each other better and there would be more compassion in the world today.
We often feel like everyone should already know what's bothering us because to us, it's painfully obvious, right?
We shouldn't have to ask for an apology, they should just know better, right?
When others don't automatically react to us in a way that tries to correct it, we often feel even worse because suddenly it feels like they don't even care enough to try to make it right.
"You always awaken into a fresh new world, painted by the emotions that you chose to carry into the day. You've felt all alone because no one can see all the colors you've spent a lifetime collecting." - Jennifer Kruse

Or do we feel like the better person by silently dealing with it without mentioning it at all?
Do we justify this by saying that if we have to tell them to apologize, then the apology doesn't really mean anything?
We've probably all done this to some degree or another in our lives. If you haven't quite figured it out yet, it's a recipe for disaster and it almost never ends well.
For best results, communicate your feelings in a way that helps you both to move forward. Remember that they probably are not mind-readers, they don't really know why you feel upset at all.
'Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.'
View challenges as your opportunities for improvement and focus on the improvement more than you ever used to get stuck on the challenges.
Isn't it time we decide to carry only positive emotions forward into each new day?
Let's paint the world "happy!"
Who's with me? :)
